Year-end medication pick up notice

Dear Parents and Guardians,

If your child has medication at school it must be picked up by Friday, May 31, 2019, the last day of school. Your child will not be able to transport any medication on the bus, but you’re welcome to pick up medication in the campus nurse's office anytime before the last day of school.  Any medication/spacers not picked up from school will be discarded.

Here at The Varnett Public School,  medication is usually transported from home to school and back by adults. This is to prevent any misusage of medication with children.

It is important to note that a new medication/allergy form must be completed for the upcoming 2019-20 school year, which begins Aug. 19, 2019.  All prescription medications must be submitted in the original prescription bottle/package and clearly labeled. No over-the-counter meds are ever administered. All medical forms and medication must be submitted to the nurse. All medical questions and concerns must be communicated with the nurse at all times.
