Varnett celebrates Grandparents' Day

Grandparents' Day at Varnett's three campuses was a huge success. The grandparents ate a nutritious breakfast with their grandchildren and some were given cards and roses to commemorate their special day, which occurred on Sept. 12, 2011.

At East Campus, grandparents visited their grandchildren’s classrooms where they met their teachers and were given self-images colored by Varnett students. Pictures were taken of  families as they chatted away.

One grandparent noted that Grandparents' Day is a nice idea and was happy to spend quality time with her grandchildren. The campus directors enthusiastically thank the grandparents for showing your support.
