Hundreds of students and parents flocked to Varnett's three campuses Saturday, October 27, for Carnival Day featuring food, music, games and prizes.
The annual event is a key fundraiser for Varnett that supports upgraded technology and other school related functions.
While the activities varied from campus to campus, each school presented a haunted house that had kids excited and screaming on the weekend before Halloween. The students had plenty of options to keep themselves entertained.
The district's superintendent, Dr. M. Annette Cluff, campus directors, teachers and staff would like to thank the students and their families for spending part of Saturday at Varnett.
