Family Math Night was a huge success at Varnett School Northeast on Thursday.
More than 50 families attended this fun, interactive event. The event was organized by Ms. Alisha Thomas and Mrs. LaJuana Short, both first-grade teachers.
Parents and students participated in interactive math stations at each grade level. Parents were also provided tips for working with their children at home.
Hats off to Ms. Thomas and Mrs. Short for organizing such a great family event. Thanks to the team for working so hard to make it a success for the children we serve.
