This week's book fair at East Campus continues through Friday, April 28, and parents are invited to join their children in scooping up books, posters, pencils, bookmarks and other items.
The books came from Scholastic Books, which for more than 30 years has been providing students, teachers and parents with access to thousands of books and educational products.
Ms. Rena Rosser, the campus librarian, said the books are designed to meet the needs of students at each grade level. This is the second of two books fairs this school year. "We want to encourage the students to read," Ms. Rosser said.
The East Campus keeps a portion of the proceeds to be reinvested in programs and materials for the students.
