On September 15, 2017, the East and Northeast PTOs hosted a Back-to-School Hurricane Relief distribution center for parents affected by Hurricane Harvey.
The event was held at the Northeast Campus. Houston Food Bank provided food for parents through their backpack buddy program, Phantastic Dental distributed toothbrushes and The Village Life Center provided parents with information regarding counseling.
The East parents who were unable to make it to the Northeast campus were to receive items when they picked up their children from the East Campus.
