A special "thank you" goes to Epluno, which donated polo shirts, pants and socks to students throughout The Varnett Public School district.
"We are happy to support your needs during this time of hardship from Hurricane Harvey," said a letter signed by Mr. Paul Scapatici, Epluno's president, and Ms. Jenny Aleson, Epluno's New Business Development.
Enclosed were 108 polo shirts, 10 pairs of pants and some socks with a retail value of $2,940. Recently, excited East and Northeast students received their uniforms and yelled out an appreciative "thank you."
In a separate letter, Ms. Aleson wrote: "I hope the progress stays steady for your schools and community and I wish you all the best."
