Students from Southwest and Early Childhood campuses will participate in the 12th Annual 2018 MLK Youth Parade Saturday, January 13. The parade, organized to honor The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., begins at noon at Elgin and San Jacinto near Houston Community College Central Campus, 1300 Holman St.
Varnett will feature 28 cheerleaders from grades K-6 and 13 dancers from grades PreK-3. In all, the parade will consist of 10 floats and 20 marching bands.
