Starting today, educators across the country are celebrating National Teacher Appreciation Week.
And to show their appreciation, Mr. Jesse Arps, director of The Varnett School Southwest, bought Shipley Do-Nuts and Ms. Miesha Thorne, administrative assistant, handed them out to teachers on campus. She also displayed a catchy sign that said "Do Nut What I'd Do Without a Teacher Like You."
Teachers change the lives of millions of children every day, and their work and impact extends far beyond the boundaries of the classroom, says the National PTA. Take the time to show your appreciation this week!
