Summer school for selected students will take place June 4-28, 2018 at Southwest, East and Northeast campuses.
Students who have been identified for summer school have received parent notifications that must be submitted by May 29, 2018, to confirm enrollment.
The operation schedule for students is as follows:
Monday - Friday, June 4-8; 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Monday - Friday, June 11-15; 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Monday - Thursday, June 18 -21; 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Monday - Thursday, June 25-28; 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Breakfast will be served daily at 7:30 a.m. and transportation will not be provided. We thank you for your dedication to excellence and look forward to helping your child to improve math and reading skills.
In an effort to help your child to become successful next year, The Varnett Public School has designated a targeted program to enhance and enrich learning for students selected to attend summer school.
This program will offer intensive instruction in reading and math to prepare the students for the next grade level. Varnett will provide programs in the areas of English as a Second Language, extended school year and fifth-grade re-testers.
