  Shortly before school ended for the year, East Campus third through fifth graders elected student body officers for 2016-17. They are Cristopher Carballo, president; Ashley Hernandez, vice president and Manaiha Richardson, secretary. They wasted no time meeting with Varnett Public School Superintendent Margaret Stroud and telling her what they would like from Varnett as they enter the fifth grade.
